SW-846 Hazardous Waste Test Methods

The Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) governs waste management and materials recovery and reuse, including teh disposal of both hazardous and non-hazardous solid waste.   In support of RCRA, the EPA developed test methods for the analysis of various environmental media. These test methods can be found in the EPA publication, Test Methods for Evaluating Solid Waste: Physical/Chemical Methods, also known as SW-846.    Golden has the ability to perform analysis using the following SW-846 hazardous waste test methods:

SW-846 Method 011 Formaldehyde, Acetaldehyde, Acetophenone, Isophoreone, Propionaldehyde - by HPLC/UV
SW-846 Method 200.8 Trace Elements in Water and Waste - by ICP/MS
SW-846 Method 6020B Sub-Microgram per liter concentrations of elements - by ICP-MS
SW-846 Method 8260B VOCs in Non-Potable Waters - purge and trap, GC/MS
